So sayeth the government. I grew up in the Bay Area, went to college at Purdue, and now live in the Los Angeles area.

I'm a player of games, and love to introduce others to all kinds of games, both digital and analog. Always love good game recommendations, so here are mine:

• Digital:
  • Mystery(No spoilers!): Outer Wilds, Return of the Obra Dinn, Blue Prince
  • Roguelike: Risk of Rain 2, Slay the Spire, Peglin, Hades, Balatro
  • With a friend: Journey to the Savage Planet, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked
• Analog: Gloomhaven(long long legacy game), Wingspan, Spirit Island, Plunder

I've been a software engineerSoftware engineer, Software Developer, Code Monkey, Mr Programmer Guy, Script Wizard, etc. Whatever you want to call it. at Hulu, GitHub, and most recently, Rec Room. I've mostly been drawn to large distributed systems problems in a variety of different formats. My most recent focus was building out the game server platform at Rec Room.

I love working with Rust, Ruby, and Elixir, but I'm experienced (or at least familiar) with a much longer list of languages.
